Preparation :
- Chop fish into half inch thick pieces and clean well. Add salt, mix thoroughly and keep aside. Soak dosa rice in water for half an hour. This is used to get thickness in grounded masala paste.
- Make a fine paste of dry red chillies, soaked and drained rice, black pepper and ginger garlic paste in a blender. Add little water while grinding as we need a thick paste.
- Remove the grounded masala from blender and place in a bowl. Add salt and lemon juices and stir. Marinade the fish pieces in this grounded masala paste for 30 minutes.
- Heat a shallow frying pan in a medium flame and add oil. When it is ready to fry place fish pieces well coated with masala into oil.
- After around 10 minutes flip pieces one by one so that other side of the meat is cooked. Fry until meat is cooked properly and remove onto absorbent paper.
- Serve warm along with parboiled rice and fish/chicken curry.
