Preparation :
- Soak rice in a water for at least 20 min.
- In a cooker add ghee, once it is heated in a medium flame add the following one by one bay leaf, star anise, black pepper, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, cashew nuts, ginger garlic paste, green chilies (slit into two).
- Once spices are fried add the vegetables one by one.
- Also add coriander leaves which plays the major role in this tasty Pulav.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder, Cumin coriander powder, Turmeric Powder.
- Add drained rice and mix well. Pour 2 cups of water and salt as per taste and cook taking 2 whistles.
- Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve along with vegetable raitha or curd.
