Preparations:
- In a bowl prepare a batter of chickpea flour by adding 1/4 glass of water, salt, flour, asafoetida, cooking soda and chilli powder.
- Prepare a thick batter and there should not be any lumps.
- Cut the bread slices into desired shape and keep aside.
- In a deep pan heat oil, dip each piece of bread into the batter and fry in a medium flame.
- Let it be crisp and golden brown in color.
- Serve hot along with chutney's or ketch up.
