Chane Usli is a konkani breakfast dish prepared from chickpeas. This delicious dish is also good for health. The chickpeas are soaked overnight or for atleast 8 hours and boiled in cooker using water. Instead of throwing the boiled water of chickpea you can prepare Chane Saaru which also contain nutritional value.

- Wash chickpea and soak in a water overnight for at least 8 hours.
- Boil chickpea's in a cooker taking 5 whistle's.
- In a pan add oil. Add Mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilies.
- Add Boiled chickpea(do not add boiled water) and sauté for few minutes.
- Add Hing, Salt and coconut. This is very simple to prepare and very tasty to eat.
