Preparation :
  1. Boil the eggs, Separate it from its shell and keep aside.
  2. In a vessel soak rice using water for 20 minutes, wash well and drain the water.
  3. Heat pressure cooker in a medium flame and add oil. Once it gets heat add cinnamon stick, bay leaf, star anise, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and green chilli (slit into half).
  4. Saute for a minute, add sliced onion and fry till golden brown.
  5. Add cumin coriander powder and garam masala powder. If you need a spicy biriyani then add red chilli powder as well.
  6. Sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves, saute for two minutes.
  7. Add rice, turmeric powder, boiled eggs and salt, mix well.
  8. Drop ghee and pour water till one inch above the mixture.
  9. Cook these taking one whistle and your biriyani is ready.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot along with vegetable raitha.
